Building Children's Emotional Resilience

Children today need emotional resilience skills more than ever after the global pandemic. They have experienced an unhealthy amount of loss, social isolation and change. Whilst we are all getting on now like nothing happened, a lot of children have missed out on years of social development and are still afraid. This needs to be addressed otherwise these side effects  will be taken into adulthood and potentially scar their whole future.

Lainy Wills has spent nine years spent working with young people. She has worked as a Young Persons Counsellor and Wellbeing Tutor in five primary schools and three secondary and three colleges. She has also pioneered anti bullying programs based on her children’s book ‘Emotional Poo Don’t Let It Stick to You’.
